Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime performance featuring elite military musical units from around the world, brought together for a powerful celebration of precision, heritage, and international camaraderie.

The American Military Tattoo, originally held in 1995 at George Mason University’s now Eagle Bank arena, featured Washington, D.C. premier military band units such as the President’s Own, U.S. Navy Band, and His Majesty’s, King’s Guard of Norway.

30 years later, in front of the majestic backdrop of the U.S. Marine Corps Iwo Jima Memorial the 2025 American Military Tattoo celebrates this once in a generation military collaboration featuring:

His Majesty’s, The King’s Guard of Norway, Band and Drill Team. Witness a rare U.S. appearance by the world-renowned 100+ member, King’s Guard Band and Drill Team (HMKG)—an elite infantry unit of the Norwegian Army. Best known for their impeccable synchronization, razor-sharp rifle drills, and ceremonial mastery, HMKG combines military discipline with captivating showmanship. While their core mission includes protecting the Norwegian Royal Family, the Royal Palace in Oslo, and other royal residences, they have become a global symbol of excellence in military performance.

The “Commandant’s Own” U.S. Marine Drum & Bugle Corps. Representing the finest in musical pageantry, The “Commandant’s Own” delivers electrifying brass and percussion performances that stir the soul. Named after the Commandant of the Marine Corps, this elite unit, stationed at Marine Barracks Washington serves as the name sake to the highest-ranking officer in the Corps. This title reflects their unique distinction and elite ceremonial role. This premier musical unit of the U.S. Marine Corps performs over 400 ceremonies and public events annually.

The U.S. Army Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps. As part of the official ceremonial unit of the United States Army and Escort to the President, the Fife & Drum Corps brings the spirit of the Continental Army to life with every performance. Established in 1960, and part of the Army’s oldest active-duty infantry regiment, The Old Guard (est. 1784), they perform over 500 missions annually—from the White House to global stages—honoring America’s rich military music traditions.
