Police: VA man charged after displaying ‘KILL BIDEN’ sign

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — A Virginia man has been arrested for having a “KILL BIDEN” sign.

WWBT in Richmond reported Thursday that Kenneth Kraig Thomas of Goochland County was arrested and is facing a charge of threatening a person in writing. He is being held without bond. It was not immediately clear if he has hired an attorney.

The criminal complaint says the sheriff’s office received multiple complaints about signs at a home saying “KILL BIDEN” and “MAKE BIDEN PAY!!!”

The sheriff’s office said Thomas was standing next to the signs and waving at cars. The complaint said Thomas also had his vehicle parked at the end of the driveway with a Confederate flag sticking out the window.

Thomas also had various signs that used expletives and referred to President-elect Joe Biden, the FBI and Democrats, the complaint stated.

Thomas also parked his vehicle at the intersection of Route 522 and Route 673 with the words “KILL BIDEN” painted on the rear window and driver’s side back window, authorities said. He was also standing next to it waving a Confederate flag.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and the FBI and Secret Service are involved.
