WALDORF, MD — (WMAL) Police are looking for two shoplifters who were video-taped stealing from a local Victoria’s Secret Wednesday evening.
Two women were caught on tape by a bystander shoving clothes into bags and then running off through the St. Charles Towne Center. The video clearly showed one woman stuffing clothes right off the shelf into a large trash bag, while the other used a tote bag.
Other thefts have been occurring in the region, including the Charles County Sheriff’s Office where two women made off with items from the office in a large trash bag.
In a statement, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, says that they are “looking into the possibility the suspects may be connected to similar thefts throughout the region.” There is no other information regarding the other thefts at this time.
Police are currently attempting to identify the thieves, and are offering up to $1,000 for information related to the case. Authorities can be reached at 301-932-2222.
