A Baltimore police officer who was caught on a now-viral video beating a man over the weekend has resigned his job. The officer – whose name has not been released – was immediately suspended when the video went public – It shows the officer repeatedly punching DeShawn McGrier in the face, even though McGrier never appeared to resist the officer. McGrier’s attorney says his client’s jaw was broken in the scuffle.
