WASHINGTON (WMAL) – Montgomery County police are asking the public to help identify a group of suspects who assaulted and robbed two teen victims at the Ellsworth Place mall in downtown Silver Spring.
According to a statement released by the Montgomery County Police Department, the incident took place on Wednesday, October 2. Police said the six female suspects confronted a 16-year old female and a 17-year-old female inside a fourth-floor mall restroom.
According to police, the suspects assaulted the two victims as they attempted to exit the bathroom. The unidentified suspects also stole property from the victims before fleeing from the mall.
Police are asking those who may know the identities of the suspects or have details on the incident to come forward and contact the 3rd District Investigative Section.
