AG Miyares Slams Vandalism at Virginia Pro-Life Clinic

Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares slammed those responsible for vandalizing the life First Pregnancy Resources Center in Manassas, VA following the leaked report that the Supreme Court had moved to overturn Roe v. Wade. The vandalism is yet another sad example in a line of acts of vandalisms seen across the country committed by pro-abortion activists.

As workers arrived at the Center on Monday morning they were shocked to see the phrases “Liars”, “Abortion is a Right” and “Fake Clinic” spraypainted on the sides of their building.

AG Miyares weighed in on the disturbing situation. “It’s unfortunate that this charity has been targeted,” Miyares told The Washington Times in a statement. “It is never acceptable to resort to intimidation, vandalism, or destruction in our political discourse. This is what makes America so unique – we should embrace diversity of opinion and civil dialogue and debate.”

The CEO of First Pregnancy Resources Center Becky Sheetz is taking the high road, professing that she has already forgiven the vandals and wishes they “understood the work of pregnancy centers and our compassion and our love.” Sheetz continued, “One of the things that the person [painted] there was, ‘Liars.’ That’s the opposite of what we do. We provide all the information that [a woman] needs to make a fully informed choice and no matter what she does, we love her anyway.”

A spokesperson for the Manassas City Policy said the department plans to vigorously investigate the situation.
